DAY 1: ANKARA-KARS EASTERN EXPRESS TRAIN (Wednesday, February 25)

We meet at Ankara Train Station at 12:00 PM. We begin our tour with the Ankara-Kars Expedition at 1:55 PM. We'll stay the night on the train.

DAY 2: ERZINCAN-ERZURUM-KARS TRAIN JOURNEY (Thursday, February 26)

On our beautiful overnight train journey, we'll enjoy the beautiful scenery, mountains, and streams before arriving at Erzincan Train Station around 7:15 AM. The train will take a 2-hour and 30-minute break, and we'll continue our Erzincan tour with our waiting vehicle. In Erzincan, we'll see Girlevik Waterfall, the Coppersmiths' Bazaar, and the city center. The train departs from Erzincan Train Station at 9:45 AM. For your final stop on your journey, the train will arrive in Erzurum at 1:44 PM. The train will make a four-hour stop, followed by free time in Erzurum. Guests who wish can explore the city center and sample cağ kebab. Guests can also join a city tour on the minibuses waiting at the train station. (Extra) The Erzurum city tour will also include panoramic views of the Three Tombs, the Twin Minaret Madrasa, the Grand Mosque, Erzurum Castle, and the Yakutiye Madrasa. After the stop, the train will depart from Erzurum at 5:44 PM. We recommend arriving at Kars Train Station at 9:44 PM. Meet our guide at the train station and transfer to our hotel in our waiting vehicle. After settling into our rooms, overnight at our hotel.

DAY 3: KARS CITY CENTER (Friday, February 27)

After breakfast at our hotel, our Kars city center tour begins at 10:00 AM. Our Kars city tour includes Kars Castle, Kars Museum, the Twelve Apostles Church, the Stone Bridge, Namık Kemal's house, and historic stone buildings from the Russian era. At a convenient point during our tour, we'll stop for lunch at Kars's most famous Kaz Evi restaurant, where we'll savor the delicious taste of goose meat. The afternoon is free to enjoy Kars city center. Dinner will be at the hotel. After dinner, we'll join the Caucasian Night program.

DAY 4: KARS ANI RUINS - ÇILDIR LAKE (Saturday, February 28)

After breakfast, we'll depart for Ani Ruins. Our tour will include: We'll visit the Gagik Church, the Church of the Holy Apostles, the Chapel of St. Gregory, the Church of St. Prktich (Halashar), the Great Cathedral, the Church of Tigran Honents (Illustrated), the Monastery of the Virgins, a Zoroastrian Fire Gate from the Persian Civilization, a Georgian Church, the Seljuk Palace and Castle, baths, and the Ebu-l Menuchehr Mosque, the first mosque built by the Turks in Anatolia. Then, we'll depart for Lake Çıldır, located within the borders of Ardahan, at a high altitude. After lunch, you can experience the joy of horse-drawn sleigh rides or fishing on the frozen lake. Then, we'll depart for Kars city center. Dinner will be served at our hotel. After dinner, we'll attend the Minstrel's Ruffle Night.

DAY 5: KARS-ANKARA (Sunday, March 1)

After breakfast, we'll depart for the airport. Arrival at the airport at 12:30 PM. After checking in, we fly to Ankara with Ajet Airlines at 2:10 PM. We arrive in Ankara at 3:55 PM. We bid farewell, hoping to meet again on another trip.
